The 71 families that returned to Los Medios to start their lives over never lost their love for life. Doña Rosa and the other villagers constantly keep in mind the luck and strength that kept them going through it all, as we can see in this video.
We paid them a visit together with a team from Nice and Serious, a creative agency from London. We’ve got some updates on how are things going in the community, the flow of the panela production process and encountered new needs.
The committees they have created ensure a good activity of the school and church and address nutrition, law, economic and social issues. The kids are going to school, the main shop in the village manages to offer locals almost everything they need, but still, the panela production process is in continuous development.
The Los Medios community has come a long way thanks to your support. And it can go further with your help.
