After losing their father, who battled cancer for nine years, the Belashenko family is trying to rebuild their lives from scratch. During the war, Natalia was left with three children, a newborn grandson, and no home of her own. Temporary shelter in a hostel was only a brief respite for them. Now the family is forced to live with their eldest daughter, where seven people are crammed into a one-room flat.
The children are often ill, the youngest son needs medical supervision, and Natalia is trying to keep everything on her shoulders. Since May, the family has not received state assistance for internally displaced persons. As a result, they have fallen into debt and are on the brink of survival.
Despite all the difficulties, the family has not lost hope. Their biggest dream now is to have their own home, even if it is rented, where the children can sleep peacefully, study, and simply be children. This is the main goal of our project, “A Home After Loss”. Thanks to your support, we will be able to cover a year's rent for the family and provide the youngest boy with a medical examination.
We are sincerely grateful to those who have already made their contributions. Even the smallest donation is a step towards a great goal: to give the Belashenko family a sense of security, dignity and home. Your warmth and participation can be the ray of light that illuminates their path from the darkness of loss to a new life.
