Thank you all for your terrific support our our work in Nepal. 2020 has proven to be a challenging year and we were not able to travel to Nepal as planned. The funds raised for this project are being held until we are able to go to Nepal again. We are actively seeking ways to support our colleagues and friends in Nepal.
We have hopes and dreams that in the spring of 2021, this might come true. So much lies in the ability to see the international health care crisis of COVID-19 reach an end. Treatments are in the works around the world but the application of a vaccine is still not fully realized.
When we are safely able to return to Nepal, we will let you know and renew our fundraising efforts at that time.

2020 has been an unexpected and extremely challenging year in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. All Healing the Children Chapter plans have been put on hold for both inbound children and outbound teams.
Although our Medical Teams Abroad trip to Kathmandu was rescheduled for 2021, we continue to actively work to support Nepal Orthopedic Hospital. Donations help to meet hospital expenses while Nepal is on a mandatory lockdown.
Our patients from across the world are in our hearts and prayers as well as the hard-working doctors, nurses, and staff of NOH as well as the people of Nepal.

Dear Friends,
We wanted you to know that we have taken the very difficult and serious decision to cancel our 2020 trip to Nepal in response to the growing concerns surrounding the Novel Coronavirus. Many of our team members had planned to fly to China enroute to Nepal which comprised our trip last month and the continued concerns worldwide of this new virus strain prompted an abundance of caution to keep everyone involved with the project as protected as possible.
We are already looking to 2021 for our rescheduled trip and all funds raised to date will be saved toward that effort.
We appreciate your support and understanding and will keep you posted of our plans.
