2021 saw us sending out over 1100 Water Survival Boxes with consigments to the Philippines. Syria, Yemen and Haiti.
We are currently arranging logistics for boxes to go to The Philippines again after the damage
Caused by Typhoon Odette/Rai in late 2021.
We are working with partners Khalsa Aid International and ADRA with 400 boxes likely to be sent in the next 2/3 weeks.
Packing of boxes in our depot continues wit excelent support from our volunteers. Next week we will be hosting a Rotakid group of 11-14 year olds to help them understand the significance of safe water and disaster response.
Sending boxes in these numbers is a significant cost to the charity and the stock totalling £56,000 will need to be replaced if we are to continue to support victims of disasters.
All of our management and operations are volunteer led making us a very cost effective charity.
