Many seniors in Poland face old age in loneliness and insecurity. Low pensions, rising living costs, poor health, and the absence of family support make everyday life a serious challenge. For many of them, even basic necessities become difficult to afford. The "Care Package for a Senior" project was created to respond to these needs. Through this initiative, the Foundation of Good Initiatives prepares and distributes support packages for elderly people who are most at risk of social exclusion.
The problem we address: x Many elderly people live alone and have no regular contact with others. x Pensions are often insufficient to cover basic needs. x Seniors frequently feel invisible, excluded, and left behind by society. Loneliness has a real impact on physical and mental health. Our project aims to reduce both material hardship and emotional isolation.
By delivering care packages, we: x help seniors meet their basic daily needs, x reduce stress and anxiety related to financial insecurity, x restore a sense of dignity and belonging, x build bridges between generations through solidarity and empathy. Packages are distributed in cooperation with local institutions, social workers, and community partners who help us reach those most in need.
x One donation = one real package delivered to a senior in need x Immediate, tangible help with long-term emotional value x Direct support for people often overlooked by public systems x Every package means warmth, care, and human connection.
