Deaf children in Argentina often grow up surrounded by spoken information they cannot fully access. Our platform responds to this gap by creating a digital environment where knowledge, stories, guidance, and community information are available in Sign Language. Families, teachers, and children can explore materials designed for everyday life, early development, and participation in society. Through accessible technology, the platform connects deaf children not only to education, but to the world
They are invisible, unheard girls and boys. In Argentina there are more than 95,000 deaf children and teenagers under 18. Over 90% of them are born into hearing families that don't know Sign Language (LSA). Information is reduced to brief linguistic exchanges leaving deaf children in highly vulnerable situations, being illiteracy one of the most critical. The pandemic brought to light the marginalizing abyss that exists between these little ones and their access to learning.
The platform will inspire deaf children ages 2 to 5 and their families to play and interact using sign language. For school children, it will provide an array of topics, literature, and fascinating insights into arts and sciences, all neatly organized into categories. This innovative solution will create a vibrant and inclusive learning environment, empowering deaf children to explore, learn, and thrive while also equipping their support networks with the tools and knowledge they need.
This "Netflix-like" platform will revolutionize learning for 95,000 deaf children and teenagers, their families and teachers, by introducing them to innovative ways of exploration. Designed for continuous growth, the platform will regularly feature new material, ensuring a dynamic and ever-evolving educational experience. Its versatility allows for use across Spanish-speaking countries with simple adjustments to the signers, fostering a collaborative space where new creations can be shared.
