This Project is raising funds to purchase a rugged, mechanically reliable 4x4 project car (specifically a late 1990s/early 2000s Toyota Hilux) to overcome severe rural transportation challenges.
Impassable Roads: The program operates on rough, unpaved rural roads that deteriorate completely during the rainy season. Inadequate Transport: The organization currently relies on motorcycle trailers and motorized tricycles, which fail to navigate the muddy terrain, stalling vital community operations.
Target Vehicle: A mechanical 4x4 Toyota Hilux, chosen for its durability, flatbed capacity, and widespread spare parts availability across Uganda. Logistics Support: The vehicle will transport heavy food sacks for orphan feeding centers, deliver vocational tools for youth dropouts, and reliably back up the Aparis Village Ambulance Project
Financial Goal: $50,000 total goal ($49,911 remaining) Supporters: 7 donors to date Timeline: 5-year project scope
