Help Suffering Animals Get Medical Treatment
“I love you for saving my life!” Had it not been for the dedication and devotion of one man, it would have been a very different picture Malee, a gentle giant Bullmastiff, was rushed to Lanta Animal Welfare’s clinic last month. She had been bitten in the mouth by a cobra and was in grave danger. Her whopping 117 lbs/53 kg was no defence against the venom that was coursing through her veins. Fortunately help was close by. After working all day, Dr Preow rushed back to Lanta Animal Welfare that evening to treat Malee. He spent the whole night at her side to ensure she remained in a stable condition as the medication to save her life took effect. This picture captures the moment they were reunited a couple of days later when Malee returned for a health check. If only dogs could talk…
