Since 2013, Emfasis has stood by those most in need, ensuring that even the most vulnerable among us experience the warmth, joy, and dignity of the Christmas season. Like every year, we are standing up for the right of our fellow citizens living in house precariousness and isolation to be part of the festive Christmas spirit.
This microproject aims to bring the magic of Christmas back to socially vulnerable families and elderly couples who may feel forgotten during the holidays. Many socially vulnerable families and elderly individuals face loneliness & social exclusion especially during the Christmas season. Financial difficulties and lack of social support prevent them from celebrating the holidays. This microproject seeks to address these issues by offering warmth, companionship & to help them feel included.
The project provides a supermarket voucher, a small gift for a child, a warm festive meal, and simple acts of kindness to help socially vulnerable families and elderly couples feel included and cared for during the holidays. It aims to bring moments of joy, connection, and belonging, while reminding our beneficiairies that they are valued members of the community and that the true spirit of Christmas is about caring, sharing, and togetherness.
The beneficiary families and their members, having been disengaged from the agonizing and continuous search for their basic needs, will be able to mobilize towards activities extremely important for their social reintegration. With your help, we'll be able to give the assisted families decent living conditions and take care of their most pressing needs. In other words, the mutual commitment of both Emfasis & the family to cooperate leading to the family's socioeconomic full recovery.
