Dear Donors,
“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, Nothing is going to get better. It's not.” - Dr. Seuss, The Lorax
Thanks to each one of you for being 'someone who cares'. Your donations have allowed us to add a very important component to the curriculum for Camp Shout Out: Youth Who Stutter.
We are currently working with an drum and rhythm circle facilitator to develop a curriculum designed to teach young people who stutter about the many different forms of communication. While we have been able to have one drum circle in our program we have not, up until this point, been able to have our campers study the communication of Rhythm. Rhythm is thought to be one of the earliest forms of communication and we are blessed to be able to add this hands-on, interactive program to our daily schedule.
We are VERY excited about the possibilities and the doors we are going to open for our campers.
We are honored and humbled by the support you have shown.
With great gratitude,
Julie Raynor
