Dear Donors:
"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, Nothing is going to get better. It's not" The Lorax!
We would like to personally thank each and every one of you for being a 'someone like you'. Your donation to this project has allowed us to take what it is that we are already doing well and make it even better.
It's not often that young people who stutter can come together as a group to share their experiences. Many young people who stutter think they are the only one with the problem. The environment at Camp Shout Out allows us to create a community of caring, compassion, communication, and most of all FUN!
By adding a dedicated art program to our curriculum we are providing one more method of communication that our campers can experience. The more communicative success they have the more likely they will be to take risks in their communication. What we wish most of all is for young people who stutter to realize that WHAT they say is more important than HOW it is said.
Thank you for help us change the world for kids who stutter!
