School-going Children of daily wage families in slums areas of Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India are on summer leave and they hardly get one meal per day. This project will help them by giving them nutritive food including small grains, pulses, and millet along with evening tuition to keep them engaged and refresh their knowledge. Already these children are facing malnutrition, this initiative will help to cut off it. $5 to cut off malnutrition among 20 children per day.
These Children are from a kind of so-called backward community, we all need to accept the fact that equality is still a huge problem. So, their parents are working a daily wage, and only if they get work, they can get food. Some of the Children are going to school and they get free meals, until the month of June, it is hard time for these kids.
We did the same program last year and during our latest visit, a 5-year-old girl child took a vessel and came expecting that we are giving her food, later we gave 2 biscuit packets. This is the reason we consider it an urgent one and also, we appeal to you all dear friends to support us and thereby support Children, your quick response will help the children to stay away from hunger and we can gift them good health. We named this project as "One Grain - One Day"
This project will support more than 100 children to get good meals, helping them to escape from malnutrition, come out of poverty, give good immunity and stamina to play, study and develop in life. For a long period their parents and ancestors are suffering, let us give hand to progress and strive towards having a bright future.
