Diana is 19 years old and she has 12 brothers and sisters. When she was younger her parents couldn't afford to send them to school and Diana only has a little primary education. For years she's worked whatever menial jobs she can find. Despite the challenges she's face she's never given up her dream of returning to school. With your help, that dream will come true this year!
School in Haiti is not free, and if a family cannot pay, their children simply do not attend. Lack of education locks these children in a cycle of poverty. Ensuring access to school not only improves children's lives, but strengthens Haitian communities in the long-term.
Diana has lived her whole life in poverty because her family couldn't afford to educate her or her siblings. Your donation will give Diana the education she needs to ensure she does not follow in her parents footsteps. We'll use your donation to pay Diana's school fees, provide books, school supplies, and extra support if she needs it. The education she'll receive will be life changing.
Access to education for children from families who do not have the means to send their children to school means that those children will have the skills they need to find stable jobs and escape the poverty of their families.
