Our World Parrot Day micro-project has come to an end and we are overjoyed to report that between our GlobalGiving family and online donors our $1500 goal was actually slightly exceeded. Thank you all so much for your amazing generosity. Parrots are our first love and also the species that needs the majority of the organisation’s expenditure. Their rich and varied diet, their craving for enrichment and stimulation, and the fact that they are without doubt one of the messiest species on the planet means they require a bunch of care and attention, and of course that all costs a bunch of money!
Micro-projects like this one are a wonderful way for us to focus our fundraising efforts on a specific topic and we are incredibly grateful that as always you stepped up to help where help was most needed at that time.
You can follow many of our parrot stories on our social media and in our newsletters. We are also planning to launch a new blog before long too, so if you don’t already subscribe to our website, please follow the link and add your contact info so you don’t miss out.
Thank you once again for helping us to help them to Fly Free!
Warmest regards
Nikki and the BBR Team.
