Every year on Valentines Day we go into the Redlight area of Pattaya to distribute roses and bags full of goodies to the women and tell them that they are beautiful like the roses and loved. Inside their bags the women will find a variety of gifts: cookies, handmade item, voucher, book, an invitation to learn more about Tamar's vocational training options, and more! Please help us bring joy and love to the women trapped in the bars
Currently the bars in Pattaya are filled with young women that have come from the country side to the financial pressures of their families. The economy is still struggling after Covid and there is a lot of financial pressure on families. We want to invite the women to join our free vocational training in baking, sewing, cooking, hospitality and hairdressing in order for them to be able to have a safe and secure job and income.
The outreach will focus on the main redlight areas of Pattaya. The gift bags will have information about alternative job and training options. We want to give the option for a different job and training if they are interested in it. We also want to built relationships with them, so that in the future, if they are in need or in a difficult situation, they know whom they can contact for help.
Our goal for the women is to leave Pattaya, maybe return to their families and to have a normal life outside of the sex industry. We will train the women job skills and help them to find employment or help them to start their own small business so that they can provide for themselves and their children. Also, when they return to their families, they will help to prevent other young girls and boys to start a work in the sex industry.
