This project aims to provide urgent nutrition and essential dry ration food kits to 50 vulnerable HIV orphan and semi-orphan children in Guntur. At least 100 HIV positive children have been identified in Guntur who undergo regular monthly checkups and receive the needed medicines from the government hospital. They also study in formal schools and access midday meals. However, they do not access enough daily food and care, and therefore this project provides essential food nutrition ration kits.
HIV positive vulnerable children in Guntur district are at high risk of starvation and decreasing immunity due to insufficient food. HIV children need immunity booster food to survive, but Most of the HIV orphan children could not get enough food due no one cares for them in their family due to poor and sick conditions. Hence this micro project provides essential food kits to 50 HIV vulnerable children of both boys and girls for three months.
This project aims to support 50 HIV orphan children of both genders. The project will distribute ration kits containing nutritious food and hygienic items such as 1 kg of peanuts, a pack of dry fruits, 1 kg of raagi malt, 10 kg of rice, 1 kg of dal, 1 kg of wheat, 1 kg of ravva, 1 kg of sugar cane, 1 liter of cooking oil, a tray of eggs and fruits. The project will also provide personal hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpastes, 2 bathing soaps, and 2 detergent soaps.
This micro project aims to provide essential food kits to 50 HIV positive orphan children who urgently need them to boost their immunity. The food kits will contain sufficient nutrition for three months. The project will also help to improve the health and safety of the children, reduce child labor among vulnerable groups, and ensure timely health checkups and regular medication with the support of BASS volunteers.
