Planting Community Orchards in England
The English orchard is an integral part of the British history and landscape, yet there has been a shocking 90% decline in the existence of traditional orchards throughout the country since the 1950s (for more on this topic, see the People's Trust for Endangered Species). The time is now to bring these orchards back into English landscapes--creating places of food, wildlife and refuge for generations to come.
