Getting Ready to Ship The Computers

Raspberry Pi Model B - up and running

Dear project supporters,

Thanks so much for your support which helped us purchase the Rasberry Pi 3 computers.  You can see some of the computers and one of them in operation in the included photos.

We are in the process of doing some software updates before shipping them out. This will include some software from the Web Unplugged site - http://oer2go.org

We are extremely grateful to two volunteers who have worked on this project. They have been amazing.

Eitan approached us offering to help build the computers and further education in Africa. He showed exceptional initiative and leadership. He researched the needed components and put them together.

Matt helped research and transfer the components to a sturdier case.

We are super excited about the fact that the children in Sierra Leone will soon be learning using these computers. This will help make them computer-proficient - which is essential in today's computer-driven society.

Thank you so much for helping to make this a reality.  We deeply appreciate you!

Cordially
