This project will cover the tuition and associated fees for four young women in Tanzania, so that they can continue their university education. Marselina, Remence, Serafina, and Nasra are currently in their first year at university. Your donation will make sure they can continue in their studies this Fall (academic year 2022-23).
Marselina is pursuing a degree in Law at Mwenge Catholic University in Moshi. Remence is pursuing a Bachelor's in Education, with a focus on Biology, at the University of Dodoma. Serafina is pursuing a Bachelor's of Education, with a focus on Science Education, at the University of Dodoma. And Nasra is pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management at the Tanzania Institute of Accountancy.
Girls Education International will cover the tuition and associated fees so that Marselina, Remence, Serafina, and Nasra can stay in their programs of study for a second year. These four young women are graduates of Project Wezesha's academic study camps, which equipped them with the academic skills they need to succeed in university. Girls Education International is proud to partner with Project Wezesha, a community-led organization in the Kigoma region of Tanzania.
When girls have access to higher education, they are empowered to uplift their community and sow the seeds of peace for the planet.
