This microproject will purchase 50 complete school uniforms for children in Superarse's care in Medellin, Colombia, so they can attend class daily with dignity and without being turned away for not meeting dress codes.
Superarse serves 50 children (ages 6-18) who have faced homelessness, family separation, or extreme poverty. Public schools in Medellin require uniforms; many families cannot afford them, which leads to stigma, disciplinary notes, and missed school days.
We will buy and fit 50 uniform kits (shirt, pants, PE outfit, sweatshirt, socks) matched to each school's list. Delivery is registered with signed receipts and updated in each child's case plan.
Uniforms remove a key barrier to attendance and retention, improving learning outcomes and preventing dropout.
