It is impossible to concentrate on your school work when your tummy is growling for a meal! That is just a common fact. And if you hadn't eaten anything since yesterday - and that wasn't much - then your mind is not on reading, writing or arithmatic. Your mind is on your hunger. That is why it is so important for us to be able to provide the children at the Live and Learn in Kenya Education Center School porridge for breakfast - and all Live and Learn in Kenya International children a warm lunch.
Thank you for helping us make this possible. We have been able to provide warm lunches for all of the Live and Learn in Kenya children every day - 6 days a week.
We do our best to make sure that the children at the Education Center also have meat at least once the week and milk 3 times a week and fruit 3 times a week.
Recently three cows were donated right after we built a cow shed. The children will soon be enjoying fresh milk every day!
We want to thank all of our treasured donors for their wonderful generosity and hope that you will go on sharing your blessings with the Live and Learn in Kenya International children. We have so many mouths to feed!
Asante sana - thank you so much.
