Hi,
Thanks for your help, I had a conversation on phone with the mothers of these 2 children, both of them live in rural areas. They had cultivated beans and corn in large quantities to enable them raise money to top up on the $200 you raised, unfortunately the crops were hit by a scorching sun shine that no one had expected.
On learning about that, our project again has posted the same call on Globalgiving page to allow us raise more funds to enable the duo go for treatment in India, Carbrinis health is deteriorating day and night, he now lives on drugs which also need to be bought in the clinic and if nothing is done, he might be one of the children who will not be able to celebrate his 5th birthday.
"Am looking forward to seeing my child heal, I have sleepless nights, I have resorted to washing people clothes for a pay, unfortunately if I go with the child, no one gives me the job, if Ii leave the child at home, no one will be able to take care of him" said the mother.
Will you help them to survive?
