Persons with Disabilities are facing difficulties to access accessible Toilets at their homes. Parents are very poor to afford accessible toilets. There is dire need to be fulfilled of needy persons with disabilities to have accessible wash room at his/her home. NDF desires to facilitate 10 families in the area to have role model accessible Toilets for persons with disabilities in District Shaheed Benazir Abad.
Person with Disabilities are facing lot of difficulties to access WASH facilities public places even at homes. The parents are not well aware about accessibility features & also poor to afford the accessible Toilets. NDF will construct new 10 Wash Rooms with collected raised money through this project to facilitate with limited period.
This project will solve the problem that privacy of individual with disabilities will be ensured, he/she will be able to access toilet themselves without support of any other individuals. The 10 Persons with Disabilities will be able to access WASH facility independently. This practice will build his/her confidence & living standard moral.
Accessible Toilet construction with all required accessibility features, is support in long term, it will bring the long term potential impact, which can be witnessed by user on who is individual with disabilities, the family of person with disabilities will be able to access same clean wash room/toilet, one hand pump will also be installed for drinking water and wash purposed water. This facility will be useable for whole family but especially for individual with disabilities.
