Thanks to your generous support, teachers will be able to give students experiences with real learning for real life. The Mathematics Engineering Science Achievement (MESA) program's Summer Teachers' Academy is now scheduled to take place July 23-25, 2013. During this 3-day workshop, MESA teachers will be using prosthetic arm kits to improve their skills and abilities in experiential teaching. Together, teachers will learn how to increase engagement and participation of underrepresented students in critical skills like problem-solving and team-work, as well as helping them discover the wonder of science.
Thank you for helping us pass along the power of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to hundreds of students, statewide.
