This year at Christmas we would like to renovate our "Cardroom" the room where the women work first when they come out of the bars. This room has been used now for some years and we want to make it a more colourful place, with individual desk space, a coffee corner, nice pictures and some new furniture and colour on the walls. The goal for this room is, that it will become a really safe place for the women to relax, enjoy and start their new life.
The women coming out of the sex work are often traumatized, scared, unsure of themselves and in need of a lot of counseling and love. In order to help the women adjusting to their new enviroment we want to help them with a room, that nice, welcoming and where they can feel safe and can relax and enjoy a new working environment.
Nice colours on the wall will help the women relax, new chairs will help them to be comfortable, the coffee corner will offer some nice break times and we want to help them to individually design their own workspace with pictures and things that they like and are comfortable with.
Our goal for the women is to leave Pattaya, maybe return to their families and to have a normal life outside of the sex industry. We will train the women job skills and help them to find employment or help them to start their own small business so that they can provide for themselves and their children. Also, when they return to their families, they will help to prevent other young girls and boys to start a work in the sex industry.
