Two of the most beneficial programmes implemented for the fifty children attending the Sunshine Daycare and Preschool are the Nutritional Meal and Pharmaceutical Drug Programmes. Enjoying perhaps the only wholesome meal in a safe environment and receiving the required multi-vitamin and iron contribute enormously to maintaining the expected child nutritional levels.
Our experience in the field has shown that community-based programmes can play a significant role in bridging the gap and changing attitudes. Moreover, community-based programmes linked to primary healthcare, wellbeing and nutrition constitute a significantly in the overall improvement of community based programmes.
The funds raised through GlobalGiving’s Micro Project will support The Sunshine Charity in its commitment to provide affordable healthcare and nutrition to fifty vulnerable children uninterruptedly.
We say a big thank you to all our donors for their generosity to address two of the greatest needs.
