A two-months sewing vocational skill education training camp for the economic empowerment of 1 marginalised and deprived women has been successfully organised by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan in village Khanpura, Ajmer district.

In the sewing skill development training camp, Master craftsmen Asha providing skilled training of sewing, cutting (blouse, rajasthani and rajputi costumes, from, peticot, salwar suit, baby suit, pajama, etc.) in both ways written and practical. 1 poor women/girls of Dalit and minority are working hard to learn the sewing in detail in this training. In this two-months sewing training camp, 5 hours everyday, the specialists of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan have also providing training for life skill to these women so that their confidence level would increase and becoming economically empowered these women may live a dignified life.

The project is being executed and operated with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation and the difference makers. The primary objective of the project is that getting trained in sewing vocational education marginalised and deprived women may increase their earnings and improve living standard of their families.

Sewing skill training is just a dream for the women of Khanpura village because usually, these dalit and minority women remain ignorant of the golden opportunities of skill training due to their backwardness. But when they came to know that a two-months sewing skill training camp would be organised by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation, they were so happy because it was the first time when they had got such an opportunity.

All women are getting learnt to sew with complete deliberation and interest.

Some knowledgeable game activities are also organised every week during this training to reduce stress. To make these women better and successful entrepreneurs, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan is teaching them tips of marketing, and an exhibition will also be organised for the garments produced in the training camp which will help this woman trainees to become mature in marketing.

After completing the training, a certificate and diploma will be given to these deprived women/ girls trainees by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan so that they may get placement/ job easily and a loan on lower interest rate will also be provided to those who are interested to be self-employed so that women may be able to initialise their garment making entrepreneurship and get better livelihood becoming successful entrepreneurs. This project is a significant effort of becoming dreams of deprived poor women true, and the credit for this goes to our respected difference makers Donors because this noble work is not possible without their support. We thank to all the difference maker for bringing smile to the faces of all poor innocent women.
