It is with a heavy heart that must tell you that little Awabo died before we were able to operate. The heartbreaking outcome is a tragic reminder of how much there is still to do to save all the children born with heart defects. We have applied the money donated for Awabo to our parent project, which is still raising money to help other children like her.
I know that many of you were deeply invested in Awabo's plight. Your prayers and support meant a lot to her family.
Our next pediatric mission is coming up in November, and we look forward to saving Ange and other children during that time.
