As the attacks continue on the Ukrainian people, its people are in need of ongoing supplies and support to defend their country. The human toll is significant. This is a regional effort lead by the Wisconsin Ukrainians and Ukrainian Cultural School of Green Bay to combine resources and send much needed supplies overseas. Your support funds items our organization is able to provide to this cause, such as clothing and footwear, blankets, medical supplies and much more.
The human toll in Ukraine is significant. As the conflict evolves, the needs of those remaining in the country grow. More than 1 million refugees have fled already, yet in a country with a population of more than 44 million - this means barely a fraction of its people are safe. We need to activate to send supplies that will support the Ukrainians in defense of their country.
As attacks on many regions of the country continue, many people remain without access to essential basic supplies. This project is in collaboration with locally based groups with personal ties - family and friends - in Ukraine. This response will include sending items such as: clothing, footwear, first aid, tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, thermal underwear, protective gear, flashlights and much more.
This conflict already has small but significant worldwide effects. Its escalation will be exponentially devastating for the Ukrainian people. Your support of this project works to ensure those at the heart of the conflict can put an end to it before it escalates beyond the world's imagination.
