This project will change the future of a semi-orphan Thafreen whose lost her mother at a young age. After a lot of hardship, she has got admission in BPharm. She needs your support for her living expenses - hostel accommodation, food etc. Please help her will grow into an empowered individual and not a liability to society.
Tafreen comes from a very poor family and lost her mother when she was 9. She has been staying with her relatives for a few years but she has been subject to emotional and physical abuse. The situation is not conducive to concentrate on studies. Tafreen badly needs to move out of the family and to a safe haven - College Campus Hostel which will take care of accommodation, food and books etc.
Your support will make sure that Tafreen moves into a Hostel on College Campus and be able to concentrate on studies without worrying about abuse and exploitation. She can score well on her tests and complete her BPharm degree with flying colors. Your support will provide for her Hostel Fees, books and stationery and other related expenses for the next two years
The project will provide education to 200 first generation school going girls and help them attain high school education at the least. Beneficiaries who complete school to secondary level are supported with higher education, training, apprenticeships and/or employment. About 150 families (750 people) will be direct and indirect beneficiaries of this initiative.
