Raju hails from a poor family in Karimnagar. The family moved to Hyderabad in search of work. Raju lost his mother 11 years ago. He joined Sphoorti in 2009. After great efforts, he completed High School with a GPA of 8 and Intermediate with 79%. He got admission in BSc (MSCs) in Bhavan's Degree College, Hyderabad and is in 3rd Year. We request you to support his College Fee, living and travel expenses for this year.
This project helps a poor and orphan boy overcome the problems of poverty and ignorance . Raju does not have proper family support. His father earns very little. Without your care, he would have stopped studies by now and ended up as an unemployed or an unskilled laborer all his life. Higher education will ensure that Raju becomes a graduate in a year.
By sponsoring Undergraduate education along with living and travel expenses, computer, library access, shoes and other required material to study well, the project makes it possible for Raju to pursue Bachelors and look forward to a good career and/or higher studies. His journey can inspire more underprivileged children to think big and lead a successful life. He needs Rs 120,000 for this year (Rs 50000 College related expenses + Rs 60,000 Hostel Fees + Rs 10,000 for Bus Pass, books &clothes)
Each day, we keep getting requests for admission of children who lost their parents in tragic situations. This project provides long-term support 200 children allowing them to break out of illiteracy and poverty. It project brings improvement of children's health, awareness of their rights and makes them more employable in the long run.
