Mangaraju lost his father when he was 8. His mother is a heart patient, cannot work and survives on Government widow pension. Through hard work, he scored 8.7 GPA in STD X and 83% in Intermediate. He joined Bachelor's Program in Electrical Engineering in Geetanjali College in Hyderabad. Your support will give him an opportunity to become an Electrical Engineer. We request you to support his College fee and living expenses for this year. He is currently in the third year of Engineering.
This project will help Mangaraju come out of poverty and ignorance that has been haunting his parents and community for several years. Without proper education, he would have stopped studies and ended up as an unemployed or unskilled bonded labor all his life. Higher education will ensure that Mangaraju becomes a qualified Engineer in the near future. He wishes to get a good job and be able to take good care of his mother.
By sponsoring Undergraduate education (Electrical Engineering) along with living expenses, travel expenses, computer, library access, shoes, required material to study well, the project makes it possible for Mangaraju to complete Bachelors in Engineering and look forward to a good job or higher studies. His success story can inspire more underprivileged children to think big. Upon completion of his course, he will be the first Engineering graduate in his village Valpolu, Anakapally district.
Each day, we keep getting requests for admission of children who lost their parents in tragic situations. This project provides long-term support 200 children allowing them to break out of illiteracy and poverty. It project brings improvement of children's health, awareness of their rights and makes them more employable in the long run.
