This project will change the life of a complete orphan Nirmala who scored 8.13 in her STD X examinations held in March 2017. She is one of the studious children of Sphoorti and stood among the toppers in her School. Nirmala wants to prepare for Chartered Accountancy course. Your support will help her realize her goal. The project will also provide food, education, clothing, books, stationery to help her preparation.
Nirmala comes from a very poor tribal family. Her parents settled down in Hyderabad. Her father was an auto driver and mother is a home-maker. Her father committed suicide in 2010. Nirmala was brought to Sphoorti soon after. Nirmala is a very hard working child. She wants to pursue BCom and CA course. Nirmala has no family support to help her living, let alone further studies.
This project solves the problem by providing Nirmala comprehensive care, shoes, school bags, uniforms, lunch box, travel costs, health care and required material to study well. Most importantly, it will provide her financial resources to prepare for CA coaching. The total cost is $1250 for the current academic year.
The project will provide education to 200 first generation school going girls and help them attain high school education at the least. Beneficiaries who complete school to secondary level are supported with higher education, training, apprenticeships and/or employment. About 150 families (750 people) will be direct and indirect beneficiaries of this initiative.
