Dear Friends

A warm Greeting from RSKS India & Happy New Year

For the economic development of 14 deprived school drop-out girls and women, in village Mangaliyawas, an adjacent village to national highway, 33 kms from Ajmer, a two-months free handicraft self employment training program is being organised since 26th December 2015 by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, financially supported by Global Giving Foundation and the donors. Under the project, 14 deprived girls and women will be taught to make Rajasthan bandhanwar, doorbell, papermacy and ceramic art for 2 months by skilled trainer.

The micro project is being directed by Sandeep Kumar, executive of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and 14 girls and women are being provided handicraft training by the trainer, Chandu. It is required to make known that until a few years ago, Chandu was just an ordinary domestic and daily wages labor women but some years earlier, She got participated in handicraft training and after getting trained, she has represented herself as a successful entrepreneur and put an example for other girls and women. Now, 27 years old Chandu is a successful entrepreneur and a master trainer who earns Rs. 10,000 per month. She has improved her living standard by getting handicraft training.

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan will also facilitate life skill, entrepreneurship development, job fare, trades meet, handicraft exhibition to 14 deprived girls alongwith handicraft training program. In the words of a trainee, Miss. Deepa , village Mangaliyawas resident, 17 years old 8th standard school drop-out . . .

"Chandu didi is an ideal for all of us rural deprived girls and women. I want to become just like as her and I am confident enough to do the same. I will also improve the living standard of my family by getting handicraft training. I am running short of words to thank Global Giving and the donors because they have brought a new ray of light in my life in the form of handicraft training by which so many poor girls will get a new ray of hope(self employment) in their blackout full life (poverty). We salute Global Giving and the donors for this benevolence."

On behalf of the beneficiaries, RSKS India would like to thank you for your generous donation to help them.

Many thanks again for your support!
