On Monday, September 16th, Beauty, one of our beloved therapy ponies at Equine-Assisted Therapies of South Florida, underwent a successful emergency surgery for a severe case of colic. Colic, a life-threatening condition in horses, occurs when they cannot pass stool. Since horses are unable to vomit, waste buildup can block the intestines, causing immense pain and danger.
While the surgery was successful, the costs associated with her surgery and ongoing recovery are significant. Beauty has given so much to our community-her gentle spirit and calming presence have helped riders of all ages and abilities thrive. Now, it's our turn to help her.
We are reaching out to you, our supporters, to ask for donations to help cover the costs of her medical treatment and recovery. Please consider contributing to Beauty's recovery and ensuring she receives the care she so greatly deserves.
By investing in Beauty's recovery, you are directly contributing to the long-term sustainability of our therapeutic programs, helping to maintain the high standard of care and impact that the we provide. Thank you for standing with us during this critical time. Your generosity will ensure that Beauty can continue her vital work, bringing healing and comfort to those who need her most.
