Thank you for raising $400 for supporting the living and education expenses of our girl child R.
The girl came to Sphoorti 4 months ago.
In recent months, she was suffering from mild Bone Tuberculosis and was coughing incessantly. She was given proper treatment by a Government run Health center. Through she knew she was suffering from TB, R never lost hope and was determined to get back to health and continue to excel in studies. Right now she is almost cured and has gone to meet her relatives during Summer break.
Your support was instrumental in saving her health. Through your help, we were able to gave her high quality diet.
Through the help of donors like you, we are able to send R to a good English Medium School and arrange tuition classes after school hours. We also seek services of child counselors for occasional interactive sessions with children of her age. R plays Throwball and Kho-kho with interest and is a good team player.
R says that she loves the new campus in Dundigal with spacious rooms, bed to sleep on and vast open space filled with sunlight and breeze. She wants to complete her studies and then become a teacher so that more Sphoorti children can have good education. She also participated in the Annual Day celebrations of her school this April.
With utmost dedication and responsibility, we have been able to give R a lot of hope and confidence to lead a decent life. She has a lot of self confidence. We are positive that she will have a secure life like any other child. We are confident that we can save more children like R from indigence and gift them prosperity and happiness.
We will return next academic year to seek R's support. Thanks again.
