This project will change the life of Pavan who hails from a poor family. His father deserted him when he was still an infant. His mother has been struggling to take care of him. Your support will help him complete two years of Junior College - STD XI and XII. He will be able to pursue higher education in future. Pavan scored 7.8 in his STD X examinations held in March 2017.
From his infancy, Pavan did not have proper care and love from his father. His mother was struggling 24 x 7 to feed Pavan and his two siblings Durga Prasad and Deepa. Seeing the plight of the children, the local leaders of Pavan's neighborhood brought Pavan and Deepa to Sphoorti a few years ago. Pavan is a very hard working child. Besides, academics, he also takes interest in sports and cultural activities.
This project solves the problem by providing Pavan comprehensive care, shoes, school bags, uniforms, lunch box, travel costs, health care and required material to study well. He will also prepare for Engineering Entrance examination. The total cost is Rs 50,000 (tuition for two years) + Rs 60000 (living expenses for two years) + Rs 25000 (travel expenses for two years).
Each day, we keep getting requests for admission of children who lost their parents in tragic situations. This project provides long-term support 200 children allowing them to break out of illiteracy and poverty. It project brings improvement of children's health, awareness of their rights and makes them more employable in the long run.
