Dear supporters,

First of all, thanks a lot for your support towards my campaign. I managed to raise my target amount for the Jugaad Lab, and the organization running this lab for girls, Feminist Approach to Technology (FAT), managed to raise enough funds to sustain the project through 2017. This means the Jugaad Lab will be able to provide STEM education to 30 more girls this year in addition to the 10 girls who graduated its first level training last year. Thanks to your support for making this happen!

The 10 girls from previous year's batch have already started to learn higher level tech skills through a new partnership with Level Up Village (LUV), a US-based non-profit organization aimed at facilitating collaboration amongst students from around the world who are part of different organization or schools. LUV runs courses at more than 150 public and private schools in the US, the UK and Australia with 30+ Global Partner organizations in more than 20 countries. LUV’s initiative with Jugaad lab involves a close virtual interaction of our participants with students from USA through exchange of video letters. Below are the links to websites made by our Jugaad Lab girls along with thier partners from USA during their LUV classes on Global Climate Change. This is just the beginning of their upcoming endeavors.

The team running the lab mobilized extensively in multiple communities this month for admissions into the new batch. They have already received 30+ applications. The new batch is supposed to start from first week of April.

The fundraising campaign for this project has resulted into more gains than funds. Many new partnerships have emerged with individuals and organizations interested in the project. We are hoping this year will have much more impact than the last year!

I thank you for your support so far and hope you will continue to support the girls and FAT in their future plans. FAT will share regular updates on the project with you. Thanks again!
