Greetings from SERUDS
Swetha is an 11yrs old girl child. She is studying 6th Standard ‘A’ Section in IGMM High School, Kurnool. She is the youngest daughter to Mr.Srinu & Mrs.Lakshmi. Both of them are dhobi (clothes cleaners) servants working in near by houses as a daily wage dhobis. Swetha is having very interest in studies, but her family conditions are not conducive to her dreams. Because the earnings of her parents are not enough to fulfill their basic needs. They can’t afford education expenditure of their children. So her parents decided to stop their child not to study and support them to work with them to survive some more amounts to their basic needs.
SERUDS identified Swetha not coming to school regularly due to lack of educational material, uniforms in time. We counseled swetha parents to continue her studies by supporting her all the education material like English to Telugu Dictionary, 2 sets of branded stitched uniforms, note books, writing pad, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, schoolbag, Shoes, Sacks, Sketches etc items. With this support now Swetha is continuing her studies with out any hurdles in IGMM HIGH SCHOOL. This support has given with your kind donations through GlobalGiving. She is also progressed very well in her recent examinations. Swetha parents are also happy to continuing her daughter studies with out any risk.
