Greetings from SERUDS
Thank you for your Donations through esteemed organization GlobalGiving to provide Hot Meals for Destitute Elders. With your generous contributions we are able to provide nutritious lunch to poor elderly persons. In this ongoing program 30 destitute senior citizens are getting every day food support from SERUDS. The family background of these poor older persons belongs to poverty, some of the elderly women are begging on the streets, having no houses and sleeping at neighbour houses, community halls, graveyards;
By seeing this criticle juncture of poor old age persons we have identified them in different locations of Kurnool and brought them to one place and started Kitchen since 2009 and since then Providing Nutritious Lunch for 30 Destitute Elderly People every day. The hot meals includes Stemed Cooked Rice, Taar Dhal, Fresh Vegetable Curry, Sambhar, Curd, Seasonal Pickle/ fresh made chutney.
With this nutritious food the Poor Older Women health levels have been increased. They have got self confidence that they will live few more years. They expressed sincere gratitude to the Donors as well GlobalGiving Organization for organizing such a wonderful initiative for the Destitute and needy.
