Your generous support helps to support the LA Conservation Corps Driver's Education program. We have provided driver's education and behind the wheel training to 12 young men and women who are overcoming barriers to employment. The LA Corps is increasing the number of licensed young adults in our program and improving their employment prospects.
Valerie Reynolds* recently completed the Driver's Education program. She will be graduating from Los Angeles Education Corps Charter School in June 2014. She also works as a corpsmember at the Los Angeles Conservation Corps. For the last two weeks, she received 7 hours of behind the wheel training and a complimentary vehicle to take the DMV driving test. She is very appreciative for the driving lessons she received and states, "I am really glad I took the driving lessons. I really needed my license to get a car for work and school. Valerie successfully passed the DMV driving test and received her Class C Driver's license. She will be attending community college in Fall 2014.
Thank you for helping us provide driver's education for young adults like Valerie*! Interested in continuing to support the LA Conservation Corps? Like us on LA Corps facebook and share one of our Global Giving projects with your friends and family Keep Los Angeles Youth Employed and In School
