The leader students of the group "Lideres de Cambio CAO" have proposed a way to adapt themselves to the regulations imposed by the Ministry of Health of CR to return to face-to-face classes. Therefore, the group seeks to purchase 3 handwashers with a pedal, hand soap & cleaning supplies, to bring back 1001 students to the classrooms.
This project aims to bring 1001 students back to face-to-face classes during the COVID-19 pandemic as the institution doesn't have the required equipment to comply with the regulations imposed by the Ministry of Health to avoid the spread of the virus.
The Jose Marti high school neither has the devices/supplies nor the enough funds to acquire them and comply with the regulations imposed by the Ministry. All these devices will be strategically placed throughout the institution.
This initiative contributes to reduce the educational exclusion in Puntarenas, as 1001 students will continue studying at the institution. In the long term, these students will be able to complete their high school education and insert themselves in the labor market.
