Education  Haiti Project #22202

Send Fritz to School for a Year

A microproject by International Disaster Volunteers (IDV)
Send Fritz to School for a Year

This project will provide a full year of education for Fritz. Little is know of Fritz's past as he was simply left at the HTDC orphanage one day. Despite this Fritz is an outgoing child, and is always the first to capture the attention of visitors to the orphanage. And even though Fritz is young, this doesn't stop him seeing himself as BOSS at the orphanage. With your help, we'll be able to provide him with the education he needs to build a secure future.

As an orphan, Fritz is among the most vulnerable of Haitian children. There are no free schools in Port au Prince available, so the orphanage must pay for the kids in its care to attend school. Lack of education locks kids like Fritz into a cycle of poverty. Ensuring access to school not only helps Fritz, but strengthens Haitian communities in the long-term.

Fritz has lived his whole life in poverty. He needs a quality education to find a prosperous future. Your donations will give him that education and set him on the road to a brighter tomorrow.

Long-Term Impact

Access to education will give Fritz the skills he needs to find a stable job and escape poverty when he's older.
