Send Chinaidine to School for a Year

A microproject by International Disaster Volunteers (IDV)
Send Chinaidine to School for a Year

This project will provide a full year of education for Chinaidine. Chinaidine's mother was unable to meet her basic needs because of poverty, so she was forced to abandon Chinaidine at the HTDC orphanage. Today, Chinaidine is one of the orphanage's most social children - a real social bee! With your help, we'll be able to provide her with the education she needs to build a secure future.

As an orphan, Chinaidine is among the most vulnerable of Haitian children. There are no free schools in Port au Prince available, so the orphanage must pay for the kids in its care to attend school. Lack of education locks kids like Chinaidine into a cycle of poverty. Ensuring access to school not only helps Chinaidine, but strengthens Haitian communities in the long-term.

Chinaidine has lived her whole life in poverty. She needs a quality education to find a prosperous future. Your donations will give her that education and set her on the road to a brighter tomorrow.

Long-Term Impact

Access to education will give Chinaidine the skills she needs to find a stable job and escape poverty when she's older.
