Beauty Harry is a sixteen year old girl from Coronation, Zimbabwe. She lives with her father who is sick and disabled. Beauty is helping raise her two young sisters, one who is two years old and who is also sick and another who is four.
Beauty is the sole bread winner in her family yet she is still going to school. While juggling home and school duties, Beauty has proved herself as a hardworking person with a lot of direction. Beauty received conservation farming training and she has learned how to compost, plant, weed, and care for her garden. She fenced the family's garden plot on her own and has been working very well in the gardening project.
"We harvested a lot in the initial stage of the project and I was very happy to see the members of my family as they were very happy while eating good relish (vegetables). The nursery is now ready and looks good...I used saved seeds and am excited to see that they are growing well. The performance this time will even be more exciting than last time", Beauty said.
