This project provide 30 school benches for a remote slum's upper primary school in India. There is no other school existing in this slum for a total 8000 families living. This school provides free upper primary education to 150 children with daily nutritional meals. Class rooms are not equipped with school benches and desks. Hence Children are sitting in black stone flooring. Therefore this project provide 30 Benches and desks for 150 children to access best learning atmosphere.
BASS school has been providing free education and daily mid day meal with educational material to 150 children with the limited resources since 2011. Total 8 classrooms available in the school to cover up to 7th classes. But classrooms are not equipped with school benches. Children sitting on the floor to access classroom education. Therefore Children are frequently affected with dirt, not properly educated. Every child needs to dignifiedly access education with the best learning facilities.
This project provides 30 school benches and desks to fix in 8 classrooms to access the best classroom learning facility for 150 children. Each bench cum desk will fit 4 children in the classroom. One set of Bench-desk will cost US70 only. Children will be dignified and safely sit in benches to learn best classroom education effectively. Children would be healthy and their dresses will be neat and clean throughout the day and they also be able to eat a safe mid day meal by sitting on benches.
150 at risk children will access best education and skills training learning classroom atmosphere facilities. Community & government support and collaborations will establish to ensure education to the all children and health care and health education to all the families in the slum communities. The equipped school benches and desks will continuously serve children to access best learning opportunities.
