Activity 1: Approval to host the micro project by the school

Objective: Submission of letter of introduction and request for partnership for approval

Activity dates: 17th January, 2019

Progress: Approval was given by the school principal following the submission of the letter of introduction and request for partnership

 

Activity 2: Identifying with the internally displaced school girls and registration of their details

Objective:

1. Registration of the girls ahead of the launch of the micro project

2. Collection of the constructed Sanitary Pads Bank Locker

Activity dates: 29th January, 2018

Progress

1.The beneficiaries (internally displaced school girls) bio-data were collected and documented

2. The constructed Sanitary Pads Bank was collected

 

 

Activity 3: Preparatory activities prior to the launch of the Sanitary Pads Bank Project

Objective: Activities prior the official launch of the micro project

Activity dates 4th February, 2019 to 11th February, 2019

Progress

1. Confirmation of key facilitators to anchor the health talk session on the launch of sanitary pads bank micro project

2. Purchase of the sanitary pads

3. Printing of certificates of recognition 

 

Activity 4: Launch of the Sanitary Pads Bank Project

Objective:

1. Formal launch of the sanitary pads bank project

2. Distribution of the sanitary pads

3. Educating the school girls on reproductive and menstrual health hygiene

Activity dates 12th February, 2019

Progress

1.Launch of the sanitary pads bank micro project

2. Distribution of the sanitary pads to the beneficiaries

3. Health talk session on reproductive and menstrual health hygiene
