Dear Donors,
We are writing to inform you of the closure of our microproject, ‘Rwanda - Save 1 million lives’. This microproject was an offshoot of our ‘Save 1 million lives’ campaign, which aimed to offer organ donation and transplantation training for 1 healthcare professional and 2 weeks internship in a Spanish reference center. The training was intended to allow a team of professionals to learn more about this topic and start implementing it in Rwanda, in order to ultimately improve Rwanda’s quality of life.
Throughout the course of this project, we raised 19€. Unfortunately, this amount was not sufficient in order to reach our goal of funding a scholarship to train a healthcare professional in Rwanda.
Fortunately, though, we will be launching this project as a regular GlobalGiving project that will be more long-term. This long-term project will be under the same name and with the same mission. The scholarship money from the microproject has been saved and we will add it to this new long-term project.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our donors for their continued support and belief in our mission. Your contributions have enabled us to make significant impacts on the lives of those in need, and we are forever grateful for your generosity.
