Student participants of the Junior Achievement program "The Company" have worked within their school to build a company from the ground up: designing, producing and selling products and services to learn about entrepreneurship and leadership. The best youth-led company's product is recycled pallet furniture, designed to teach consumers about recycling and the environment. Help them get to Junior Achievement's worldwide competition taking place on December 3, 2016 by donating to their trip!
This project will help extremely deserving students to travel for the first time out of Paraguay to compete internationally against other young leaders with entrepreneurship skills. These students have worked hard all year to be the most successful Paraguayan youth-led company, and are excited to represent Paraguay in Mexico.
This project will support their travel fees and competition participation for their trip to Mexico.
The financial self-sustainability of the school means that it will continue long after any funding is provided. The school provides products and services to the surrounding community; the incomes help to ensure a quality education is given to young people, preparing them for their futures. The success of the school model will affect hundreds and thousands of students, families, and community members alike in the next decades as the model expands, and it all starts with a small start-up donation.
