One of the most memorable moments in a student's life is the school life. School bag is an important part of a school life. Slum children are living in vulnerable condition with minimal resources and support system. It is important for them to have their own school bag which is easy to carry and durable in order to keep their belongings, especially related to the school, secured from being lost or damaged. This micro-project will provide each child a school bag.
Slum children are living in vulnerable condition with minimal resources and support system. Mostly families are migrated from distant locations for construction work and other odd jobs. They don't have the financial ability to buy books, schools supplies and the school bag. This project will solve that problem by providing each kid a school bag which they can bring to school everyday.
Access of free quality education and child care trough regular daily basis classes, nutrition supplement /breakfast, health and hygiene care, and parenting sessions to their mothers and fathers will enhance the life of disadvantaged children living in slums in vulnerable condition.
-- Reaching out to the marginalized and working Children [6 -18 yrs] living in the slums. -- Enabling the non-school going children to acquire certain minimum levels of knowledge and skills -- To provide an opportunity for these children to pursue their further studies in formal schools through Open Basic Examination. -- Educating the street and working children to help them become skilled, and responsible citizens living with dignity.
